Aromatherapy has been used since the dawn of time to promote well-being and relaxation.  Whether it is incense, candles, or natural oils-  using these 4 scents with aroma therapy can help you get to sleep , and also promote better quality sleep.

Vanilla

Vanilla gives off a sweet aroma that has been proven to promote happy memories of home and childhood.  The scent of pure Vanilla, disarms the central nervous system, which helps you settle down when it’s time to go to bed.

Sandalwood

Sandalwood’s fragrance is traditionally considered a natural aphrodisiac as it’s scent mimics the human pheromone. It's scent has been known to have a sedative effect which calms the central nervous system and promotes relaxation.  It has also been used to reduce anxiety.

Lavender

Coming from the plant, Lavandula angustifolia, lavender is considered  one of the most popular scents in aroma therapy. History has shown that from an early time, lavender has been used to alleviate anxiety, stress and depression. It accomplishes this by slowing down the central nervous system which allows you to gain quality sleep and relaxation.

Rose Oil

Extracted Rose oil has a sweet and earthy smell that has been proven to alleviate physical and mental tension. The relaxation felt from this scent more specifically gives a person a better self-image consequently rejuvenates the body and mind.
